Nope. Nope. Nope. This is not allowed. I don’t understand how an actor can even begin to confer that sort of emotion in that last gif. He’s broken and angry and disappointed and confused and absolutely terrified all in one. How do you even do that. Like every waking second of Loki’s life he’s been trying to please his father; trying to show him that he’s just as good, if not better, than Thor. Then all of a sudden he finds out all of it has been in vain. He is what he wants to destroy, what he’s been taught to hate from the time of his childhood. He found it out all on his own, too. There was no guiding hand to comfort him nor a kind word to explain; he was alone and an entire lifetime of self loathing suddenly swelled up and poured out. That’s why he went mad; he turned into a broken “man” filled with hatred for himself and, in order to deal with it, turned this hatred on mortal men so they too could feel his pain.
I just have a lot of feelings okay?why tag? WHY?

I’m truly disappointed that they cut that scene. It shows that Loki was honest when he said that he didn’t wan’t the throne at first. He only wanted to be treated equally with his brother. Then the throne really was his to take and it’s only at the end of the scene that we see his craving for it. At first, he looks utterly confused and, even when the scepter is presented to him, he doesn’t take it right away. He didn’t really think of the throne, he just didn’t want to be second best all the time.
I did not know this! Interesting AND RELEVANT.
Damn, this really should not have been cut.
